AGM, Tea & Cakes, followed by talk by Andrew Willis on “A Bee's Eye View of Beekeeping".   Looking at bees and beekeeping practices from a bee's perspective.   Andy lives in Southampton and has been a beekeeper since the age of 8.   He has won numerous prizes in Honey Shows and was chosen to make some very special candles for the BBKA to give to the Queen on the occasion of her Jubilee.

Talk by Peter Higgs from Beegone on his work with honey bees.   His company has facinating case studies of removing bees from very difficult situations, incldung swarms ad feral bees.   Peter will also advise us on current legislation relating to honey bees.

Talk on Queen Rearing by Ged Marshall.   Ged, his wife Sheila & daughter Rebecca run British Honey Producers which offers high quality honey bee queens, pollination services & honey products.   He has served on the Bee Health Advisory Panel and has been a member of the Healthy Bees Plan.
