Our apiaries

 
 

We have three association apiaries, where members meet regularly to share good practice and learn together. The apiaries are open to experience beekeepers and “apprentices” who have completed the beginners’ course, who graduate to become “team members” after they have taken the Basic Assessment.

Kenwood

Set in the historic grounds of Kenwood our primary teaching apiary showcases the best and most up-to-date practices in apiary management. Open and welcoming to all members for regular meetings, Beginners’ Practical and Taster Sessions.

alexandra palace

Our enhanced teaching apiary at the Alexandra Palace Allotments. A hands-on team experience for those looking to further skills, knowledge and develop responsibility for an apiary site. Supported by the local Allotment Association and Capital Garden Centre.

A secluded woodland environment offers a different apiary experience at Highgate Woods. A small but perfectly placed observational apiary supported by the City of London Rangers.
